Roman Koshelev, a weightlifting coach and teacher at the Kushchev sports school “Leader”, won 4 gold medals at the Open European Powerlifting Cup. The competition took place in Tolyatti. Athletes from 25 Russian cities took part in the competition.
Vice-Governor of Kuban Alexander Vlasov congratulated the coach on his victory. The deputy head of the region noted that in early March, Roman Koshelev also won the Russian championship in powersports and powerlifting. The athlete took gold in the double event in the 82.5 kilogram weight category with a result of 152.5 kilograms. The champion fulfilled the standard of an international master of sports.
