An athlete from the Krasnodar Territory won the “gold” at the 3rd stage of the Russian Cup in clay shooting. Competitions were held in Voronezh from May 29 to June 4. More than 120 shooters from 12 regions of the country took part in the tournament.
Kuban was represented by 2 athletes – Alexander Zemlin and Alexander Loiko. Alexander Zemlin managed to overtake his rivals in the “skit” discipline (125 targets) and win 1st place.
“Skeet shooting is one of the basic sports for the Kuban. The current success of our athlete – Alexander Zemlin is quite expected. On his account, he won the World Championship, as well as the “bronze” of the stage and the final of the World Cup,” commented the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the region, Serafim Timchenko.
The next, 4th stage of the tournament, started on June 5 and will end on June 11. Athletes take Kamensk-Uralsky.
Earlier, “MK in the Kuban” wrote that judoists of the Krasnodar Territory won 31 medals at the SFD Championship.
