Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin trusts the data of the Ministry of Defense. According to him, the department is a “legitimate and complete source of information” about the course of hostilities between Russia and Ukraine.
“There is absolute trust in the Kremlin. I would like to remind you of the words of the president that the main, legitimate and complete source of information about what is happening during the special military operation is the Ministry of Defense,” Dmitry Peskov said in response to a question about trust in information about “retaliatory strikes.”
Previously in the Ministry of Defense reported about “retaliatory strikes” on Ukrainian positions in Kramatorsk in response to the shelling of a vocational school in Makeevka, which killed about 90 people. The department claims that 600 Ukrainian soldiers were killed as a result. Ukrainian authorities and foreign journalists denied the strike. A number of Russian military Telegram channels also questioned the accuracy of this information.
The photographs of the aftermath of the strikes on Kramatorsk published by the head of the Ukrainian military administration of the Donetsk region, Pavlo Kirilenko, on the Telegram channel show that the buildings allegedly hit by the Russian strike are intact. Funnels are observed in the ground next to the walls. Light is visible in one building, the windows are broken. No direct damage to buildings was recorded in the photographs.
