Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov did not comment on rumors about the imminent visit to Moscow of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
“So far, we have nothing to report on this topic. All visits to us by foreign guests are announced in a timely manner,” TASS quoted the Kremlin speaker as saying.
Earlier in social networks there were reports that Xi Jinping may meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 21.
On February 22, Putin himself said that Moscow was ready for the visit of Xi Jinping.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also previously reported that Xi Jinping will visit Russia in the spring of 2023, which Moscow expects will be the central event in relations between the two countries this year.
