The Kremlin has no doubt about expanding the circle of countries friendly to Russia

The circle of countries friendly to Russia will continue to expand. Arguments about the isolation of Russia are untenable. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, answering the question of whether we should expect new countries in the near future that will introduce a visa-free regime for Russians.

Speaking about reports of the alleged isolation of the Russian Federation, Peskov noted that “it has long become clear to everyone that such reasoning is absolutely untenable, because the world is much larger than the countries of the collective West.”

“We see that more and more countries are gravitating towards building normal, equal relations based on mutual interest, mutual interest and mutual respect. And we have no doubt that this process will continue, and the circle of such friendly countries will expand,” Peskov is confident.

Angola introduced visa-free regime with Russia from September 29. Moscow and Luanda have already begun to discuss the issue of launching direct flights. The parties expressed their readiness to launch official contacts. Bahrain and Kuwait also stated that they are considering the possibility of introducing a visa-free regime with Russia. It is expected that in the next two years passenger traffic between Russia and Bahrain will exceed 66,000 people.
