The Kremlin commented on the seizure of the school building of the Russian diplomatic mission in Warsaw

The forced removal of the school building of the Russian embassy in Warsaw does not lead to anything good. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

“Judging by the behavior of the Polish authorities now, nothing good awaits our bilateral relations. <...> Apparently, the Russophobia that has gripped their minds absolutely deprives them of sobriety in their approach to everything related to Russia, and also deprives them of the opportunity to do some more or less intelligible and thoughtful actions. All this cannot remain without consequences,” he said.

April 29 in Warsaw, local authorities and police infiltrated into the school building at the Russian Embassy and demanded that employees leave it, since last year Poland decided to transfer this property to the state. Ambassador Sergei Andreev then said that Moscow would find another building for the school, and the diplomatic mission would ensure the normal completion of the school year and the passing of exams. April 30 he informedthat the institution can resume work from May 10.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the invasion of the Polish authorities on the territory of the school at the Russian Embassy will not remain without a harsh reaction, and Moscow considers the incident as an encroachment on Russian diplomatic property in Poland. Embassy handed over Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland a note of protest in connection with the incident.
