Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Bishkek this week to attend a summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Yury Ushakov, assistant to the head of state for international affairs, said.

November 21, TASS with reference to the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan informedthat this year the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) will be tentatively held on December 9 in Bishkek. The meeting will be held in Bishkek, since Kyrgyzstan is chairing the EAEU bodies this year. The EAEU includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
In May, the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported that the agenda included a discussion of 14 issues. In particular, the main guidelines for the macroeconomic policy of the EAEU member states for 2022-2023, the results of work to remove obstacles in the EAEU domestic market for 2021, and the implementation of the main directions of the EAEU’s international activities.
