In Kislovodsk, at the Yug Sport upper base, the Russian national rock climbing team held training camps. A total of 15 athletes arrived in the resort city. The climbing wall of the Romanenko Sports School was chosen for training.
“The climbing wall in Kislovodsk is suitable in all its parameters for training our country’s climbing team. Built under the program of the Russian Olympians Support Fund, our Kislovodsk climbing wall is the first standard climbing wall certified in the North Caucasus Federal District, the height of which is 18 meters. It is very important for us that not only athletes from our region, but also from all over Russia, choose Kislovodsk. After all, our sports facilities are recognized as the best in the south of Russia. And our exceptional natural conditions in Kislovodsk, namely the sun, clean air and healing Narzan water, allow us to improve our sports results and take training to a new level,” said the head of Kislovodsk, Evgeny Moiseev.
