Jurgen Klopp will leave his post as Liverpool manager at the end of the season

Head coach of the English football club Liverpool announced, who will leave his post at the end of the 2023/24 season. Mr. Klopp explained his decision by saying that he was running out of strength. Together with the head coach, his assistants Pepijn Lijnders and Peter Krawitz, as well as development coach Vitor Matos, will leave the club.
“I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our fans, I love the team, I love the staff. But I’m convinced that this is the decision I have to make. The thing is, I’m running out of energy. Of course, I have known for a long time that at some point I would have to announce this. I realized that I couldn’t do this work again and again,” commented Mr Klopp’s decision. The 2023/2024 English Football Championship will end on May 19.
Jurgen Klopp is 56 years old. He has been in charge of Liverpool since October 2015. Under his leadership, the team won the English Championship, the National Cup, the Football League Cup, the FA Super Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.
