According to the results of voting at a meeting of the board of directors of the Continental Hockey League, Alexey Morozov was unanimously re-elected president of the KHL, reported press service leagues.

Alexey Morozov was elected president of the KHL in February 2020. Since 2015, he has been managing director of the Junior Hockey League. From 1993 to 2014, his career continued as a professional hockey player. He played as a right winger. Mr. Morozov is a silver medalist at the 1998 Olympic Games, a two-time world champion (2008 and 2009) as a member of the Russian national team, and a three-time Russian champion as a member of Ak Bars. On February 8, 2024 he was awarded Order of Friendship for merits in the field of sports and many years of work.
