The KGB of Belarus announced the suppression of attempts to commit terrorist attacks in the country on the eve of May 9th. About it informs “Belt” with reference to the head of the department Ivan Tertel.
“These events were connected, according to our estimates, with May 9, – said Tertel. – An attempt to stir up the situation.”
According to him, “a certain number of people” were detained and “special services are behind this.” Details are not given, Tertel explained that the information is planned to be released on May 10: “I do not want to fully open today.”
He added that President Alexander Lukashenko “is aware of these moments.”
