The Investigative Committee checks a video of a child being beaten by a peer at a school in the Khabarovsk Territory

Investigators in the Khabarovsk Territory suspected the management of school No. 16 in the village of Zavety Ilyich of negligence. The investigation was launched after a video appeared on social networks in which a third-grade student was beating a peer. This was reported by “RIA News”. According to the agency, the video was filmed by one of the students and sent to her mother, who published the video in parent chats. The incident was reported to the head of the Sovetsko-Gavansky district, Andrei Cherepanov.
The inspection materials say that the teacher was not in the class at that moment. The Commission on Juvenile Affairs saw a game in the incident. “The children were playing in the classroom… he pretended to be a dad who scolds and beats his son for unfinished homework. He was portrayed…”, the agency cites the inspectors’ conclusion. At the same time, the attacker was on preventive registration in June-December 2022.
Parents are waiting for an inspection by the relevant departments, they do not want to see a bully next to their children, and are discussing the option of home schooling. As noted, a similar incident was already recorded at this school in December last year, when several high school students forced a fourth-grader to kneel.
While waiting for the results of the work of the Investigative Committee, some families decided to take their children to study in neighboring villages.
