Representative of the Bryansk Sambo school, international master of sports of Russia Anton Mamonov became the favorite of the international Grand Prix tournament. The grandiose competition took place in the Ural city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma and became a platform for performances by more than 100 participants.
The competitors in the fight for victory were the strongest Russian athletes, as well as guests from the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
Anton Mamonov won a series of clear victories and topped the podium. He won the Grand Prix in the weight category up to 98 kilograms, the regional department of physical education and sports reported.
