The interception of a conversation between the Ukrainian military showed their great trouble

The well-known tourer of NATO countries, President Zelensky, was left with his nose. Tens of thousands of 155-millimeter artillery shells, promised to Ukraine by an overseas patron, changed course and went to Israel. As The New York Times wrote, the aid package for Israel may include artillery and bombs previously promised to Kyiv.

It is becoming expensive for the States to provide adequate supplies for both the IDF and the Armed Forces. Military expert Yuri Knutov, in a conversation with MK, told how long the reserves of the Ukrainian army will last if Western supplies do not return to previous volumes.

It is clear that prolongation of the military confrontation between Hamas and the IDF may lead to a shortage of some American weapons systems in the Ukrainian army. However, Biden still says the US “does not prioritize one conflict over another” and has asked Congress for $61.3 billion in military aid for Ukraine and $14.3 billion for Israel.

“Yesterday, a video appeared in the media in which American planes with 155 mm caliber shells on board flew to Israel, although initially they were supposed to go to Poland for further transfer of ammunition to Ukraine,” says Yuri Knutov. – It is obvious to everyone: Israel is a priority for the United States. But I would not say that Ukraine today is completely left without ammunition. Of course, in some areas there is already a kind of hunger for shells, but this is not happening everywhere.

I think that the restrictions on the supply of military assistance that are being introduced due to a reduction in the supply of ammunition from the United States will not be able to radically affect the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Washington has probably already agreed with other NATO countries to increase arms supplies to Ukraine. Although Brussels officially stated that it does not have such capabilities, I think that according to closed sources, for some period – the next two to three weeks – the reduction in supplies of ammunition from the Pentagon arsenal will be compensated by European countries.

– And in the longer term?

– In the event of further aggravation of the situation in the Middle East and if the conflict escalates from local to global, when other Arab countries join in, the conflict may drag on for a long time, for example, a month or more. In this case, Ukraine will face very serious problems with the supply of not only ammunition, but also weapons.

This is also compounded by problems with personnel. The bulk of the male population is either in the ranks of the Ukrainian army or has already died. To make up for losses, the Armed Forces of Ukraine mobilize 20-year-old students or pensioners from 50 to 65 years old. Everyone understands perfectly well that such warriors will be of little use.

The other day, our military radio intelligence units intercepted a conversation between two Ukrainian commanders. The talk was about the use of new tactics, according to which, during an offensive, territorial defense soldiers would be launched first, who should deplete the defensive capabilities of the Russian troops, and only after that, at the very end, regular Ukrainian military personnel would be sent directly to the assault in order to they could take some strong point, or try to capture the first line of defense. That is, they simply use Ukrainian men as cannon fodder, throwing them into our trenches.

According to Knutov, if the United States and NATO do not resume the supply of military aid to Ukraine in the previous volumes, then in a maximum of a month the Armed Forces of Ukraine will begin to experience a noticeable shortage of shells, since by this time all reserves will be depleted.

– In about two or three weeks, in the absence of any support from NATO, Ukrainian troops will be forced to reduce the intensity of the use of artillery. And this trouble will gradually increase. Somewhere in key directions the enemy will still be able to try to conduct active combat operations for a month, but after a month the shortage of shells will be felt more and more acutely. I think this could lead to the collapse of the Ukrainian army.

Not only we, but also the Kiev regime understands such a prospect, the expert believes. That is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now trying to take the most advantageous positions before the start of the rainy season, or to achieve some so-called “victory”. Whether it’s entering Artemovsk or maintaining their positions in Avdeevka is not important.
