The Ministry of Defense reported repelling 29 attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces per day

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces have repelled a total of 29 attacks in different directions. About it reports Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Most often, the enemy attempted to attack Russian positions in the Krasnoliman direction; 12 attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repulsed there. In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian military repelled nine attacks, in the Zaporozhye direction – seven. Another Ukrainian Armed Forces attack was repulsed in the Donetsk direction.

In the Kharkov region, the Russian Armed Forces stopped the activities of a group of Ukrainian saboteurs. Also, enemy ammunition depots were destroyed in the DPR and Kharkov region. In addition, the Russian military hit three control points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces – in the Uman and Serebryanka regions of the DPR, as well as Ingulets, Kherson region.

In total, 19 enemy drones were shot down by air defense systems in the special operation zone during the day.

October 22 Ministry of Defense reportedthat the air defense hit three Ukrainian MiG-29 and one Su-25 aircraft in one day. Russian forces also intercepted eight HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and four Uragan MLRS rockets. In just one day, 30 enemy drones were intercepted.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. During the fighting, Russian troops took full control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Since the beginning of June, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been conducting active offensive operations. Russian authorities have repeatedly spoken about the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.

In total, since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 508 aircraft, 253 helicopters, more than 12,800 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, over 8,100 drones and other military equipment and weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
