The Government of the Moscow Region announced at its sitethat in the zone of the special military operation, in the performance of military duty, guards colonel, holder of the Order of Military Merit, commander of a motorized rifle regiment, Vladimir Kuznetsov, heroically died. He was the husband of the head of the urban district of Istra Tatyana Vitusheva.
As noted in the publication, Colonel Kuznetsov died on June 5, repelling an attack by sabotage and reconnaissance groups near Belgorod. Today in Istra they said goodbye to Vladimir Kuznetsov. The governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov came to the funeral.
The funeral ceremony was held in the Resurrection Cathedral of the New Jerusalem Monastery. And then, on the Alley of Heroes of the New Istra cemetery near the village of Andreevskoye, a funeral was held.
Andrei Vorobyov handed over to Tatiana Vitusheva on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin the Order of Courage, which was posthumously awarded to Vladimir Kuznetsov.
