Belgorod Governor reported shelling of a production base

In the Graivoronsky urban district, a production base in the village of Novostroevka-Vtoraya came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). About it informed Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

The fence, the roof of the building, the garage and two tractors located on the territory of the production base were damaged. Operational services eliminate the consequences.

There were no casualties, Gladkov said.

Earlier on June 8, Gladkov said that the farm Lozovaya Rudka came under mortar fire. There were no casualties as a result of the shelling, the power line was damaged.

Over the past few weeks, the border areas of the Belgorod region have been subjected to regular massive shelling. In particular, on June 8, Gladkov reported that two settlements in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district were attacked by Ukrainian kamikaze drones. As a result, when a drone crashed in the village of Vyazovoe, one person was injured, he received shrapnel wounds.

On June 4, the governor said that in Novaya Tavolzhanka there were battles with the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG). Later, the Ministry of Defense reported that the enemy was “scattered and retreated.” On June 6 and 7, the governor assured that there was no enemy on the territory of the Belgorod region, including in Novaya Tavolzhanka.

In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the “medium level of response” has been established in the region.
