The singer Sasha Kruglova had an emergency: a laptop disappeared from her apartment, which, most likely, was taken out by her housekeeper. The artist discovered the loss of equipment with important information only a week later, when the computer was needed to urgently print out the documents.
At first, Sasha Kruglova thought that her au pair had simply shifted the laptop somewhere. I tried to contact her, but the subscriber was unavailable. Two days later, it became clear that the computer had disappeared in an unknown direction along with the woman. According to the location that we managed to track, he periodically appeared in different parts of Moscow. Well, after some time, when, apparently, the system was reset to factory settings, it disappeared from sight altogether.
According to Sasha Kruglova, the au pair has been regularly cleaning her apartment for the past four months, she was very executive and pleasant, the singer had no reason to suspect her of something criminal. Moreover, initially she appeared in her house on the recommendation of friends.
The singer admits that she is not so upset by the material loss, although she remembers very well that she saved up and earned for several months on an expensive laptop. The most valuable information and documentation that was stored in the device.
“I have long been accustomed to securely protect all information. The computer, of course, had several degrees of verification, almost all the information was also duplicated in the cloud.
But some very important documents were stored only on the laptop disk. This includes scanned receipts for reporting, copies of letters from artists, project presentations, and more, including working music programs that are no longer licensed.
I’m not talking about the music and photo archives. Some of them, alas, have been lost without a trace, – Sasha told MK. – It is very disappointing to be disappointed in people whom you seem to trust, because they did not come to the house from the street. And so it didn’t even occur to me to ask this woman for passport details. Even a statement to the police to write, it turns out, there is no one. But on the other hand, this story will now be a lesson for me for the future: trust, but verify.
