The Federation Council proposed to work out the issue of taxing the income of bloggers

The Federation Council took the initiative to discuss the issue of imposing taxes on activities on the Internet, including blogging. According to TASS, this proposal is contained in the draft resolution “On the implementation of tax policy in order to ensure economic growth.”
The document was prepared by the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets and is scheduled to be considered at a meeting to be held on Wednesday.
The draft resolution of the Federation Council states: “Recommend to the government of the Russian Federation to study the possibilities of taxing income received by organizations and individuals as a result of their Internet activities.”
