The head of Yakutia promised to return home mobilized by mistake

Citizens mobilized by mistake, including fathers with many children, must be returned back, declared Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolaev following a meeting on partial mobilization.

Nikolaev admitted in his Telegram channel that there are cases of mobilization of men who should not be called up in the republic. In particular, summonses come to fathers with many children who have four or more children under 16 years of age. Nikolaev stated that he had instructed to strengthen the interaction of local governments with military commissariats so that such cases would not be repeated. Work together with the military commissariat will be controlled by the administration of the head and government of Yakutia.

“Everyone who was mobilized by mistake must be returned back. This work has already begun,” the head of Yakutia wrote.

Nikolaev also spoke about the proposal to the government to take a number of measures to support the families of military personnel. In particular, he advocated the introduction of a one-time payment of 200,000 rubles, exemption from fees in kindergartens, provision of free meals in schools, and a number of other measures.

The day before, in Buryatia, 70 fathers of large families called up as part of the partial mobilization were released home after clarifying the data, this was announced by the head of the republic Alexei Tsydenov. He confirmed that those who did not serve and are a parent of many children, that is, he has four or more minor children, are not subject to conscription under partial mobilization.

On the morning of September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia in order to protect the territorial integrity of Russia and its sovereignty, the corresponding decree has already been published and entered into force. After Putin’s speech, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu explained that those in the reserve are subject to conscription under partial mobilization, he estimated their number at 300,000 people. At the same time, he stressed that there is no talk of mobilizing students or conscripts.
