State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich said that it is unlikely that a Ukrainian missile fell in the Brest region by accident. He said this in an interview Sputnik Belarus.
Volfovich accused Kyiv of trying to provoke a regional conflict.
“An example of this is the recent incident with the destruction of the Ukrainian S-300 missile. We will find out the reason for her arrival on our territory. But there are very few guarantees that she flew to us by accident, ”he said.
In his opinion, in this situation “someone’s plan is being realized.” He also added that such attempts to artificially create a casus belli are unsuccessful. At the same time, Belarus can respond to any challenges and threats, he assured.
Recall that the rocket fell on a field near the village of Gorbakha, Ivanovo district, Brest region. Information about the victims was not received.
