Governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin expressed his condolences to the relatives of the soldiers who died as a result of the strike on the vocational school building in Makeyevka. Earlier, his press service denied the information that among them were mobilized from the Saratov region.
“We share the bitterness of loss for the Russian servicemen who died in Makeyevka. The dead guys were, among other things, from the neighboring region – the Samara region. We mourn together. Deep condolences to relatives and friends,” wrote Roman Busargin in his Telegram channel.
On January 1, DPR Deputy Information Minister Daniil Bezsonov said that on New Year’s Eve, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a HIMARS missile attack on the vocational school building in Makeyevka. According to him, among the military were mobilized. January 2 Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed information about the strike, they estimated that 63 people were killed. The agency did not specify whether there were mobilized among them.
The governor of the Samara region, Dmitry Azarov, said that among the dead were those mobilized from his region. The media also reported on the dead from the Saratov region, but later this information refuted in the press service of the head of the region.
