It is necessary to observe the mask regime in public places due to another increase in the incidence of coronavirus in Russia, said the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko. He also urged citizens to get revaccinated.

During a trip to Chita, the minister said that the country is “going through a period of rising incidence” of COVID-19. “It is very important that today we still observe the mask regime in public places and revaccinate in a timely manner,” he said (quoted from TASS).

Last week, the level of herd immunity to coronavirus in Russia got down up to 7.4%. Rospotrebnadzor does not consider necessary to introduce restrictive measures, but recommended vulnerable groups to wear medical masks in public places.
