The head of the Ministry of Energy, Nikolai Shulginov, told RIA Novosti that lifting the ban on gasoline exports could be the “next step” in easing restrictions for oil workers, but noted that it is necessary to “act according to the situation.” In his opinion, today’s government decision to introduce additional measures will improve the situation on the market.
Earlier today, October 6, the government accepted the decision to restore the fuel damper to its previous volume from October 1. The document also introduces a protective duty on petroleum products purchased for resale – 50 thousand rubles. per ton. Restrictions on the export of diesel fuel delivered to seaports by pipes have been lifted, but provided that the manufacturer supplies at least 50% of the diesel fuel to the domestic market. In addition, the share of diesel sales on the exchange was increased from 9.5% to 12%, class 5 gasoline – from 13% to 15%.
On October 4, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the export ban had reduced wholesale fuel prices. At the same time, on October 5, exchange prices for AI-92 and AI-95 continued to rise.
