The chief rear officer of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Yegorievsk near Moscow was convicted of extorting a bribe from an individual entrepreneur.
As it became known to MK, an entrepreneur was forced to pay tribute, having signed a contract for the supply of food to detainees held in the IVS of Yegorievsk, as well as to migrants held in the TsVSIG. The amount of the bribe that the head of logistics received through an intermediary amounted to 252,000 rubles. Immediately after that, he was detained by the FSB.
The Yegoryevsk court sentenced the police chief to 5 years in a strict regime colony with a 2-year ban on holding certain positions. He will also have to pay a fine of 126 thousand rubles.
