The head of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society and human rights (HRC), Valery Fadeev, called on the governors to provide the mobilized citizens with everything they need. The situation in which citizens buy their own equipment, and instructions appear on the network on what to take with them to the front is abnormal, the head of the HRC believes.

“There are a lot of messages on social networks about the need for the mobilized to buy their own equipment and medicines for the front, about the emptying shelves of the Voentorgs and spending 100 thousand rubles. Instructions appear in the media on what things to bring with you to the military registration and enlistment office. It is obvious that this situation is not normal, ”said Mr. Fadeev, his words are conveyed by press office HRC.

He recalled that not only the military registration and enlistment offices are responsible for mobilization, but also the heads of regions or municipalities. “I am glad that in a number of regions this is being closely monitored and the children are being escorted with dignity,” the head of the HRC noted. He called on the heads of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation to provide military personnel with everything necessary. “We must immediately remove the tension in society on this topic,” concluded Valery Fadeev.
