The head of Noyabrsk, Alexei Romanov, went live on August 31 on his social networks. He told the people of Yamal about the plans to create a new sports infrastructure in the city.
“The former shopping center will become the martial arts center “Northern Character”, the task is to open it in December, many athletes here do not work out in the best conditions. We are building another sports complex in the ninth microdistrict – there will be volleyball, table tennis and boxing. Regarding the Noyabrsk stadium, we have already equipped a crossfit area, but there was no basketball and volleyball, we are doing them. There will also be an indoor skate park in Noyabrsk,” Alexey Romanov promised.
A ski resort building is being built on Urengoyskaya, the old building was demolished.
Also in Noyabrsk they are designing a center for children’s creativity and plan to renovate one of the buildings of the children’s art school.
