The head coach of Rostov and the Russian national team noted that he did not understand the refereeing in the match with Fakel

On Saturday, October 22, at the Central Stadium of Trade Unions, Fakel fought with the Rostov team as part of the 14th round of the RPL. The game ended with a score of 1:1, and the decisive year for the Voronezh team managed to score only in the 97th minute.

At the post-match press conference, the guests’ mentor Valery Karpin noted that he did not understand the referee’s decisions in the match.

– For the first half an hour, my team played well, and then an incomprehensible penalty knocked the guys out of the rut. The second half went well until the last minutes. But overall it felt like the game was broken. The Voronezh team surpassed us in the intensity of the game. – emphasized Valery Georgievich.

Fakel’s head coach Dmitry Pyatibratov noted that the match turned out to be very dramatic.

– For the first twenty minutes there was some stiffness in the actions of the players, then they made adjustments and started creating chances. But the unrealized penalty and Oleg Dmitriev’s sending off into the fields hindered us a little. So far, we lack the taste of victories, but in terms of how the match went, given that Rostov is a strong team, a draw is an excellent result. Separately, I want to thank the fans, their huge support has become a key factor in saving the game.

Dmitry Pyatibratov did not discuss refereeing. He also noted that the players too easily allow the opponent to score goals and do not realize the chances themselves.

– We will try to minimize the number of errors. There is a lot of work ahead…, – said the mentor of the Voronezh club.

Recall that the match of the 14th round of the WORLD RPL ended with a score of 1:1. With 12 points in 14 matches, Voronezh moved up to 13th place in the standings. The Flammables will play the next game in the national championship in Orenburg against the local club of the same name on Friday, October 29th.
