The halal nature of Alenka chocolate has been questioned

Representatives of the expert community stated that the compliance with Islamic requirements of Alenka chocolate and other chocolate products that have received a Halal certificate is in doubt due to previously raised questions about the work of the head of the Roskachestvo-Halal body.
Thus, according to an expert from one of the certification centers accredited by the spiritual administrations of Muslims, “Roskachestvo – Halal” is accredited by the Federal Accreditation Agency, and in total there are several dozen certification bodies in Russia, many of which are accredited by the spiritual administrations of Muslims, headed by an authoritative mufti. At the same time, the expert pointed out that Roskachestvo-Halal does not have such accreditation.
Moreover, the current head of this body, Marat Nizamov, was involved in an incident in Tatarstan, where it was necessary to confiscate “halal” products in which pork was found. Against this background, as the expert noted, the Islamic expert community has doubts about the “halal” “Alenka”, “Bird’s milk” and other products.
