The governor of the Oryol region reported a downed Ukrainian drone

Air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Oryol region. About it reported Governor Andrey Klychkov in his Telegram channel.

“Today, early in the morning in the north-west of the Oryol region, air defense forces on duty shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle,” he said.

According to Klychkov, there were no casualties. Infrastructure facilities are also not damaged. He added that measures are now being taken in the region to ensure the safety of the population.

Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reportedthat on the night of November 14, air defense systems shot down four Ukrainian drones in the Moscow, Tambov, Bryansk and Oryol regions.

Klychkov regularly reports on attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Oryol region using drones. On November 10, electronic warfare equipment neutralized a drone in the Livensky district. As a result, no one was injured. On September 21, two drones were intercepted, which, according to the governor, were trying to attack facilities in the fuel and energy complex. There were also no injuries or injuries.

According to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, from October 19, 2022, a high alert regime has been in effect in the Oryol region. The region borders the Bryansk and Kursk regions, which have a medium response level and a “yellow” level of terrorist danger.
