Preparations for the start of the 2024 season began with the youth team of the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik, which has recently shown good results and pleases much more often than the players from the main team. At the end of the 2023 season, the Tekstilshchik youth team was among the winners of the Golden Ring Championship, where men’s teams compete that are as close as possible to professional football. Most of the football players playing in the Golden Ring Championship have professional experience behind them.
In 2024, the Golden Ring Championship was able to gather 11 participants representing Ivanovo, Kirov region, Kirov, Tver region, Yaroslavl, Gavrilov-Yam, Kostroma and Cherepovets. Many fans of the championship were pleased with the fact that the Golden Ring Championship did not lose its leaders following the results of the previous season. All winners are ready to start and battle for the highest places. “KSSS” took steps to become a professional club, but it was not possible to complete the matter. The 2023 champions will try to win a second trophy in a row.
