Berlin residents began to bring flowers to the Russian T-72 tank, which was shot down in Ukraine, which was displayed opposite the Russian embassy in the Mitte area on Unter der Linden.
“Berlin. People bring flowers to the wounded Russian T-72 tank, installed in front of the Russian embassy. Thank you!” Journalist Yulia Vityazeva wrote on social networks.
She also added that users on local social networks note that the action did not go according to plan.
In social networks, they believe that former Soviet or Russian citizens filled up the tank with flowers. However, judging by the video footage that appeared, the Germans were also laying flowers.
Earlier it was reported that the initiators of the action with the installation of the tank were German activists Enno Lenze and Wieland Giebel. The combat vehicle was delivered from the Military History Museum in Kyiv to Berlin. After that, the activists won a lawsuit with local authorities for the right to set up a tank in front of the Russian embassy.
