A fine for violating traffic rules will automatically “burn out” 2 years after the decision on his appointment comes into force, auto lawyer Alexander Shumsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
He noted that by that time, if the funds were not debited from the accounts of the motorist, then they become invalid.
“If up to this point the bailiffs have not forcibly written off them from your accounts, you can forget about these fines,” he wrote.
At the same time, the lawyer noted that non-payment of the fine is also a violation, which can lead to punishment in the form of a double fine, arrest for up to 15 days, or community service for up to 50 hours.
At the same time, it is possible to punish for non-payment of a fine only within two months from the moment when the fine should have been paid, Shumsky said. At the same time, according to him, the first fine will have to be paid even if the second one is issued for non-payment.
