The FSB detained a resident of Gus-Khrustalny for transferring data to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for 10 thousand rubles

FSB officers detained a resident of Gus-Khrustalny, who, according to the agency, transmitted data on the movement of military equipment to the Security Service of Ukraine. For this, according to the FSB, he received 10 thousand rubles.

During interrogation, as reported by the FSB, the detainee admitted that he collaborated with the Ukrainian special services and, on their instructions, was supposed to “collect information about the movement of trains with military equipment across the territory of the Vladimir region,” RIA Novosti reports.

As the department’s press service reported, during the interrogation they found a receipt from the man, which stated that he “received funds in the amount of 10 thousand rubles from the SBU to prepare for the task.” The document was dated May 4, 2023. The FSB said the man’s actions “were promptly taken under control” and his correspondence was “documented.”

A criminal case has been initiated under Art. 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cooperation on a confidential basis with a representative of a foreign state in order to assist them in activities known to be directed against the security of the Russian Federation). The man faces up to eight years in prison.

This morning FSB reported about the detention of a 57-year-old resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk under the same article: he is charged with collaboration with the special services of Ukraine (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
