Moscow will take into account the upcoming transfer to the UK of American F-35 fighters capable of carrying nuclear weapons, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Forum.
He noted that this step in Russia is regarded as an attempt to increase pressure, and in general there has been an increase in the number of NATO exercises and an expansion of their scale, including in the coming months.
“All necessary military-technical precautions will be taken,” Grushko said, noting that NATO’s steps will be taken into account in operational plans for military planning and troop training.
Earlier it was reported that American F-35A aircraft capable of carrying nuclear weapons would be stationed in the UK.
