The Fishermen’s House of Culture in Sevastopol was justified for not allowing people into the shelter

The administration of the Fishermen’s Palace of Culture in Sevastopol commented on the incident with exclusion of citizens to a shelter located in the building during an alarm the night before. Earlier, a video appeared on social networks, filmed by a local resident and showing how a crowd of people was standing on the porch of the recreation center, and inside the guard declared that the shelter was “only for employees” and he was forbidden to let outsiders in.

How reports Baza, citing sources, the director of the cultural center denies the ban on citizens using the shelter. It is indicated that the blame for the scandal was laid on the author of the resonant video. Thus, according to Baza, the director said that the woman who filmed the video lives in a neighboring house, which has a separate shelter. The director allegedly expressed bewilderment that the citizen, at the sound of the siren, went to a shelter in a recreation center, and not in her home. The presence of a shelter in the high-rise building was also stated by the security guard of the cultural center, who was caught in the woman’s video: “You have a shelter in your houses.”

The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, in turn, said that “we will deal with such cases harshly.” What happened in the cultural center is, in his opinion, “exorbitant idiocy or deliberate sabotage.” At the same time, Razvozhaev previously called on Sevastopol residents not to discuss problems with shelters in the public space, so as not to “please the enemies,” and to solve them independently through their management companies.
