In 2022, the Moscow Region topped the rating of Russian regions among anti-doping indicators. In the Moscow region, they fulfilled all the requirements of the anti-doping agency RUSADA.
The press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Moscow Region reported that in addition to the Moscow region, 16 more regions shared the first place in the ranking. In total, it included 85 subjects of the country.
Specialists compile a rating to improve the efficiency of the work of regional institutions and employees who are responsible for anti-doping support. Summing up the annual results for each region clearly demonstrates the situation that has developed in each subject of the Russian Federation.
We add that in the Moscow region, even the youngest athletes, starting from the age of 7, take anti-doping educational courses developed by RUSADA. Without a certificate of completion of training, they will not be allowed to compete. In the near future, RUSADA, in addition to courses for athletes over 14 years old, athletes 7-14 years old and medical personnel, will develop training for parents and coaches.
