The Faculty of World Politics at Moscow State University (MSU) identified a case of measles in one of the students. According to the press service of the university, in connection with anti-epidemic measures, students of the First Humanitarian Building have been transferred to distance learning until December 1.
“MSU named after M.V. Lomonosov carries out a full range of anti-epidemic measures: a circle of contact persons has been identified, comprehensive measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the disease. The building (Leninskie Gory, 1, building 51) has been disinfected,” they reported “RIA News” in the press service of the university.
Moscow State University added that the university’s research and educational center is vaccinating students and teachers of the Faculty of World Politics. The situation is controlled by the administration of Moscow State University and the Moscow department of Rospotrebnazdor.
At the end of October, the chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health for infectious diseases, Vladimir Chulanov, reported that over three quarters more than 7 thousand cases of measles were registered in Russia. At the same time, for the entire 2022, 102 cases were identified. Last month, a shortage of measles vaccines was reported in Moscow.
