The first “Silver Stick” floorball tournament for beginners was held in Tula. The competition was held among 24 school sports clubs in the city in three age categories, the press service of the Ministry of Sports reported. The tournament was held at the Life-Time sports complex. The matches lasted more than a week, and the finals took place on December 15 and 19.
All participants received memorable gifts, well-deserved cups and medals. The organizers plan to make the Silver Stick tournament an annual event so that even more children can try their hand at floorball. Today, this sport is practiced in 63 educational centers.
