The finalists of the competition “Golden Puck” were determined in the Penza region

The All-Russian competition of young hockey players “Golden Puck” is being held in the Penza region. During January, athletes aged 13–14 took part in the matches of rural teams. Based on the results of the games, leaders in 9 zones were chosen.
In Spassk, on January 18, a game between the teams of the Spassky and Kamensky districts took place. The hosts pulled out a victory with a score of 3:2. Nikolsky athletes won a victory over their peers from the Moksha region with a large margin of 7:3. Hockey players from Gorodishche defeated opponents from Neverkinsky district on home ice – 4:1. Guests from Serdobsk won in the village of Zasechnoye with a score of 6:1.
Teams of Nizhnelomovsky and Narovchatsky districts reached the regional final.
In the final on January 20, teams from Gorodishchensky, Nizhnelomovsky, Spassky, Nikolsky, Serdobsky and Narovchatsky districts will meet at the Diesel Arena. Athletes will compete for sports medals. Matches will start at 9:00.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Penza Region, the competition of young hockey players “Golden Puck” is held among urban and rural teams in three age categories: 9-10 years old, 11-12 years old and 13-14 years old.
