The final of the Russian Sports Tourism Cup in the Nordic Walking discipline took place in Malinovka

More than 50 athletes from nine regions of the Russian Federation took part in the competition. Two routes of varying difficulty were prepared – 10 km for the third stage and 6 km for the Cup final.

Pomorie has been holding sports tourism competitions in the Nordic walking discipline for the second year. The organizers note that the tracks in the region are considered the best in Russia and Europe. Over the course of the year, the preparation of athletes has become much better.

As a result, the victory in the third stage and in the final among men was won by an athlete from the Nizhny Novgorod region, Sergei Koshelev. Among women, Svetlana Kuzmenko from the Nizhny Novgorod region became the best in the third stage, and Galina Kiseleva from the Sverdlovsk region became the best in the final. Perm athletes won the team competition.

All competition participants received medals and diplomas from the Russian Sports Tourism Federation. The winning team also received a cup and a diploma from the Federation of Sports Tourism of the Russian Federation.
