The final of the Russian Cup in short track speed skating brought Rybinsk athletes a lot of awards

The strongest athletes gathered in the Republic of Bashkortostan for the country’s short track speed skating cup, who competed in several disciplines: all-around, relay races and individual races.
Our guys from Rybinsk, despite tough competition, won medals at various distances. In the 1.5 km race, Anya Vostrikova climbed to the first step of the podium. In second place is Artem Kozlov. The 500-meter distance brought silver medals to Elena Seregina and Artem Kozlov. Our team won bronze in the 2 km relay, and Daniil Nikolaev took third place in the 1 km relay.
Only 16 winners competed in the 3 km super final, four of them were Rybinsk speed skaters. Anna Vostrikova won gold, Elena Seregina won silver, Daniil Nikolaev won bronze. Relay races among men and women brought our team silver and bronze medals.
We congratulate the winners and wish them not to stop there, improving their results! After all, soon they will have to compete in the finals of the All-Russian Winter Universiade.
