The open championship and city championship in motocross were held in Surgut. This is reported on the city administration website.
Seven teams from Surgut, Yekaterinburg, Megion, Novy Urengoy and Noyabrsk took part in the tournament. The races took place on a special track near the Borovaya airfield. It should be noted that paratroopers gave demonstration performances at the competition.
A total of 60 athletes took part in the competition, the youngest of them being a six-year-old boy. The oldest is a 57-year-old motocrosser. The first as a result of the competition were the members of the TsSP “Siberian Legion” team from Surgut. The Surgut team “Extreme” also took second place, and the team of Gazprom Neft PJSC from Noyabrsk took an honorable third place.
