In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk today, March 22, the final of the regional stage of the all-Russian volleyball competition “Silver Ball” began. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Sakhalin region.
Competitions are held between teams from general education institutions. Children born before 2009 are eligible to participate.
“As planned by the organizers, the Silver Ball should take place throughout the entire academic year. First, tournaments are held within schools, then the municipal stage, from where the best teams go to the regional finals,” the message says.
The event will last three days. At the end, young Sakhalin residents will be able to attend a master class from leading trainers of the island region.
