As reported in the public page of the MU Sports Directorate, an international football gala match, organized by the Peoples’ Friendship Cup team from Karelia, took place on the football field of the city-hotel “Velvet Seasons” in Sochi.
The match between the “Diplomats of the World” and the “Festival Stars” took place as part of the World Youth Festival. The first team included young representatives of foreign affairs agencies from the Dominican Republic, Eritrea, Sierra Leone, Oman, Syria, Burkina Faso, and Russia. The second team consisted of famous Russian artists, athletes and politicians.
Previously reportedthat swimmers from Petrozavodsk won medals at the Northwestern Federal District championship.
