President of the Federation of Migrants Vadim Kozhenov in a conversation with “Gazeta.Ru» commented on the innovation in the Chelyabinsk region banning foreign citizens from driving buses and taxis.
According to him, passenger transportation companies will hire those who already have Russian citizenship. But Kozhenov noted that he still does not understand the introduction of such a law, since there are not enough workers in the region.
The expert emphasized that there are similar restrictions in every Russian region. He fully supports the ban on working in pharmacies to prevent migrants from selling narcotic substances and potent drugs to everyone.
Earlier, the Chelyabinsk region reported that foreign citizens would be prohibited from working as bus and taxi drivers from January 1, 2024.
