Senator Kosachev: Ukraine has deprived the West of freedom of maneuver due to the lack of chances of victory in the conflict

Vice Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev, in a publication on his telegram channel, said that Ukraine keeps the West on its side through provocations, and due to the lack of chances of victory, Kyiv has deprived Western countries of freedom of maneuver. This is how the senator commented on the statement of the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Kuleba about the absence of a backup plan in Ukraine in case of a reduction in assistance from the West.

As Kosachev noted, in this whole situation, only the West itself does not realize that Ukraine, in the absence of a chance of victory, has deprived it of freedom of maneuver. He emphasized that at the moment “the tail is playing with the dog”, and “the end justifies any means.” According to him, in the complex, white lies become the main weapon of struggle for Kyiv.

Kosachev pointed out that in order to keep Western countries on its side, Ukraine is staging staged provocations, striking critical infrastructure in the conflict zone and civilian targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. The senator added that at the moment “the supposedly omnipotent West with its all-conquering values ​​looks more and more pitiful,” and the Western slogan about “the confrontation between democracies and autocracies” in the case of the Ukrainian story has turned into a “cynical caricature.”
