The father of the head of the Gagauz autonomy of Moldova, Evgenia Gutsul Alexander, has passed away. Her supporter, Moldovan oppositionist Ilan Shor, reported this on social networks.
“Sad news has arrived about the sudden death of Evgenia Hutsul’s father. There are no words that can fully express the pain and sorrow at such moments,” he wrote.

Before her father’s death, Hutsul was in Russia, where she attended the World Youth Festival and also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
