The father of recruited Russian Maxim Kuzminov, who had previously hijacked an Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine, called on his son to repent. He is quoted by the TV channel RT in the Telegram channel.
The publication writes that the father blames the pilot’s mother for what happened: “She took such a part in his upbringing that finances are the most important thing… Money, money and money again.”
According to the man, his family must first of all repent to higher powers “for all their sins.” The father also said that immediately after the helicopter went missing, investigators interviewed him.
In addition, the relative shared that he himself was an orphan and led an “immoral lifestyle” in his adult life. Shortly before the birth of his son, the Russian went to prison, and after his release he broke off relations with Kuzminov’s mother. The narrator practically did not see his son.
In August, Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov stole Mi-8 helicopter from Kursk and headed to Ukraine on it. Then there were two more crew members on board with him, Baza reported. According to the pilot, his colleagues could have been “liquidated.”
A criminal case has been opened against the traitorous pilot; the FSB is investigating.
