Lawyer Zavalko: in case of divorce, blogger Lerchek can count on half of the property

In the event of a divorce, blogger Valeria Chekalina, known as Lerchek, will be able to count on half of the property. This was announced by the vice-president of the Moscow Bar Association Arkady Zavalko, writes “Channel Five”.

The specialist said that bloggers should not have problems with divorce, since citizens of the Russian Federation have the right to enter into and dissolve a marriage. Since the couple has three minor children, the divorce will go through the court.

“The spouses are given a month to reconcile. If after this period they still intend to dissolve the marriage, then the court will divorce them. I don’t see any obstacles,” Zavalko concluded.

As for the division of property, since it was acquired during marriage, it will be divided equally. A different outcome is possible only if they previously entered into a marriage contract, which provides for special conditions for the division of property.

Children, according to the expert, will most likely remain with their mother – in 98% of cases, the judicial system takes the side of the parent and leaves the minors with her, provided that she is not a disapproved element.

Let us remind you that the Chekalin family’s divorce suit is due to be considered on March 25. They have to share a fleet of luxury cars, two apartments and a plot of land.
